Gurro - A stress-free environment

Selective attention

The ability to willfully focus on something specific and ignore distractions helps us solve problems. But modern working life often demands more concentration than we can sustain. The result is mental fatigue and loss of effectiveness. This creates stress.

Involuntary attention

Noticing pleasant stimuli such as trees, flowing water or mountains in peaceful, natural surroundings requires no deliberate effort. You don't have to force yourself to avoid distractions. This allows the brain to shut down activity - and thus regenerate its capacity for selective attention.
